I grew up on a farm in Central Alberta, where I learned about growing grain, raising cattle, and driving tractors. In university, I achieved two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Recreation Management and the other in Communications. Most recently, I have opened Vessel Refillery; it’s my way of making it easier for Sea to Sky residents to reduce the plastic in their lives.
Deciding what to do about climate change can be overwhelming for individuals, but I believe that empowering people to make small, incremental, and achievable changes is the best way to get and keep people engaged.
