To all those who showed support this 2021 Giving Tuesday and throughout the Giving Season: THANK YOU! We know this has been a tough time for many and we are bursting with gratitude at your support, which will go directly to advocating for conservation and climate action here in Whistler. With contributions from many generous individuals and businesses, we’re so grateful to say we raised almost $5000 this Giving Season!
As the past few years have shown in the Sea-to-Sky, continuing to keep climate change on the agenda is more important now than ever. With record-breaking forest fires, flooding, and heat waves in BC, one thing is clear: increased effort is essential to protect what’s at stake.
As you’ve all shown, climate action is driven by community efforts. The support of this incredible community this season will help us continue to advocate for climate resilience and conservation in the Sea to Sky.
From our role in supporting Whistler’s Climate Action Strategy and on municipal committees of council, to our youth climate initiatives, zero waste programs, old forest conservation, and more, we always aim to advocate for the future of our community.
