Everything You Need Know: Go By Bike Fall 2026 Edition

REGISTER NOW AND COMMIT TO RIDE FOR FALL 2026 GO BY BIKE WEEK

Each spring and fall, Whistler joins GoByBike Weeks, a province-wide challenge that gets locals biking instead of driving. Whether it’s commuting to school or work, or running errands, these week-long events make it easy to swap the car for a bike.

We already know biking is great for our health, the planet, and the community. Whether you’re looking to improve your health, reduce your carbon footprint, have fun—or all of the above—GoByBike Weeks give you the perfect reason to ride. So why don’t we do it? Often, it’s because we’re stuck in old habits. To create real change, we need to shift our mindset and make biking a regular part of our lives. Let’s start now.

How it Works

  1. Register for free at gobybikebc.ca/register | Tip: Link to Strava for easy tracking | Tip: Use the distance tracker year-round to see how many GHGs you’re saving
  2. Log Your Rides | Tip: Select “Mode Shift” when replacing a motor vehicle trip—this helps track real impact in our community
  3. Win Prizes and Join Special Events – check out details below!
