We stay ahead by researching new conservation methods and reviewing relevant NGO and government projects that could benefit Whistler. By collaborating with community partners, we address emerging issues and strengthen our advocacy efforts with decision-makers.

We also focus on improving AWARE’s access to crucial data on sustainability and climate resilience—like Whistler’s Climate Action Big Moves Strategy targets, waste diversion metrics, habitat and species protection, and old-growth logging—to ensure we make informed decisions.
