Young Voices. Big Impact.
We connect with youth (ages 14-30) in Whistler to understand the environmental issues that matter to them, and find ways to help them get more involved in conservation, climate action, and the circular economy through hands-on participation.
The Challenges We Face
Youth today face significant challenges in the climate movement, from battling misinformation to feeling overwhelmed by the scale of the crisis. Despite their passion and drive for change, many are confronted with limited resources, lack of support, and the urgency of a rapidly changing world. Yet, their resilience and determination are key to pushing for the bold, transformative action needed to combat climate change.
Our Solution
Expanding our Project Now initiative, our Young Voices, Big Impact program is an immersive youth engagement campaign designed to empower young individuals aged 14-30 through a participatory action model focused on conservation, climate action and circular economy.
We collaborate with local schools and other organizations that work with youth to increase participation and engagement. Our ultimate goal is to work with youth in a participatory action model that is based on co-designing initiatives, aligning with their environmental interests, promoting the exchange of ideas and strengthening their sense of ownership.
What You Can Do
Are you a youth in the Sea to Sky Corridor (ages 14-30)? We want YOUR voice on climate action & conservation. Let’s co-create a greener future together. Take the survey and help shape initiatives for YOU.
Take the Survey
Thanks to the support by the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW), TELUS Friendly Future Foundation and Green For Life (GFL), this campaign will provide up to 150 local youth with the opportunity to learn about local climate issues and up to 40 participants to engage in 10 opportunities for climate action projects based on their interests.
