This Brand & Media Kit is designed to help media, partners, and sponsors accurately represent AWARE Whistler in editorial content and promotional materials. Here, you’ll find approved logos, imagery, and key guidelines to ensure our brand is shared with consistency, integrity, and alignment with our mission to protect Whistler’s natural environment.

General Usage Guidelines

We appreciate your interest in AWARE Whistler and welcome your efforts to share our mission, values, and events with a broader audience. To ensure our brand is represented accurately and respectfully, we ask that all partners, sponsors, and members of the media follow the usage guidelines below.

    • The materials provided in our media kit (including logos, images, videos, and written content) are intended solely for editorial purposes, including:

      • Media coverage of AWARE Whistler events, programs, and initiatives.

      • Features or stories that support or spotlight our environmental efforts.

      • Partner and sponsor announcements referencing AWARE Whistler.

    • Use of media kit materials for commercial purposes, including the resale of branded assets, is strictly prohibited unless written permission is granted.

    For Event Partners

    • If you are an AWARE event partner, you’re welcome to use our branding and media kit assets in your promotional materials, provided that:

      • AWARE Whistler is accurately and positively referenced.

      • Logos are not altered or distorted.

      • All uses are in line with our environmental and community-focused mission.

    • Please credit AWARE Whistler wherever applicable, and tag us on social media using:

    • For any co-branded materials, we request review prior to publication to ensure alignment with our values and messaging.

    Member & Partner Badges

    • AWARE Whistler provides official Member and Partner badges for use on websites, emails, and promotional materials. These badges celebrate your support for environmental stewardship and help raise awareness of our shared mission.

      • You are welcome to display the badges provided in the media kit on your website, social media, or printed materials.

      • Badges must not be altered, recoloured, or combined with other graphics or text.

      • Please link digital badges to https://www.awarewhistler.org whenever possible.

      • Use of the badges should reflect a current partnership or membership status with AWARE.

    Logo and Visual Assets

    • Use the provided AWARE Whistler logos and brand visuals exactly as supplied in the media kit.

    • Do not stretch, recolour, crop, or modify the logos.

    • Maintain clear space around all logo uses, and do not overlay logos on busy or clashing backgrounds.

    If you need a specific version of our logo (e.g. black & white, transparent background, or horizontal layout), please contact us at info@awarewhistler.org.

    Photo and Video Usage

    • Images provided may be used to support stories about AWARE Whistler events, education, and campaigns.

    • Photo credit must be given where specified. If no credit is provided, please credit “Photo courtesy of AWARE Whistler.”

    • Images may not be edited beyond cropping for format unless approved.

    Tone and Messaging

    • We ask that all editorial or promotional content using AWARE Whistler brand elements:

      • Reflects our mission to protect Whistler’s natural environment.

      • Supports the values of community action, education, and sustainability.

      • Avoids partisan, divisive, or off-brand messaging.

    Need Approval?

    For any custom collaborations, press releases, or co-branded campaign assets, we’re happy to review them to ensure brand consistency. Please send materials for approval to info@awarewhistler.org at least 5 business days in advance of planned publication.
