Just make sure to do it safely - always wear a helmet and break out the bike lights for when it gets dark. BC saved 418,000 kgs of GHGs last year through usi BC saved 418,000 kgs of GHGs last year through using human powered transport instead of fossil fuels Personal vehicles are by far Whistler’s largest source of GHG emissions, accounting for 54% of Whistler’s total emissions. If we are going to make a difference in GHG's here in Whistler we need to cut down on our personal vehicle travel- using bikes has lots of benefits! Get fit, have fun, and make a difference! If we all did half of our trips on human or electric power, we would be reaching our 2030 target!
