Earlier this week, we shared Mayor Jack Crompton’s story about how he embraces the Valley Trail. Now is your chance to hear Jack's top tips!

🚶‍♀️Work on Your Walk: It is amazing how much you can get done on a walk, if you are prepared! I use the Speechify app to read me the documents I need, all while I walk.

🚶Expand Your Perspective of Your Walk Radius: I am surprised at how close everything is in Whistler even by foot. This has changed my idea of what is ‘too far’ and often leads me to exploring new areas.

🌦️Be Prepared: The right gear means you can walk in any weather! Winter walking is actually my favorite time to be out there.
Got a question ❓ for Jack? Pop it in the comments between now and the end of June and we will get back to you with answers!

The Small Steps for Big Moves climate action focus The Small Steps for Big Moves climate action focus for June is: Embrace the Valley Trail.

If the pandemic has shown us anything, it's that there are many great options to stay connected without having to travel. When you do travel within Whistler, consider alternative ways of getting there to reduce traffic, noise and pollution and to get in some active mobility.

Check out the Valley Trail - it's an awesome and climate-friendly way to get around the community!
Swipe 👉 & follow along this month for more quick facts and action options - try them all or pick a few that work for you.
What steps will you take to embrace the Valley Trail?
